Interesting Bits & Pieces has been published as a Christian newsletter since March 2003. Many of the articles on the site, Fred's View, are written by myself but others are included on many different topics which may be of interest to Christians. The goal of this website is to stimulate interest and further research into the things of God as they relate to our lives.

  Some of the articles are gleaned from other websites and their address will be identified. Some of the sites that may be used are not endorsed by me as haveing content that I completely agree with.

  I am a Born Again believer who was Saved on April 23, 1966. The Lord took me out of a life of drinking and restored my marriage. My wife went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2004 after 49 years of marriage.

  The Bible should be our only guide to what God expects from us. As I mentioned, some of the website articles are strictly my "View" on the things of God. Again, my "View" does not matter unless it is in agreement with God's view as written in His Word (Bible.) 

  It has been my feeling for years that many Christians, my self included, do not fully know or understand the Bible or really know what Christianity is really all about. Much of this lack of knowledge is due to our busy life styles as well as just a lazy lack of interest for the things of God. Going to church does not mean we are Christians. That is a small part of God's process. To be a Christian is not head knowledge about God but it is heart knowledge. A true heartfelt relationship with Jesus Christ. To be a Christian in the true sense of the word we have to come to God His way not man's way and I'm afraid we have become lazy.
